1st gen tranny removal help
I need some help with removing my tranny from my 85 GSLSE. Every shop I've been to here in Norwalk/cerritos is charging me $100-$150. I can't afford this money at this time. If anyone can help me, please give me a call at 562-677-4453. I'll be happy to pay you some $$$$ with food/drinks or trade for...... I will be there to help you out. With past experience, I know it will take about 1-2 hrs. I have 2 pairs of car ramps, 2 jack stands, tools, and a heavy duty jack. I wish I had a compressor and power tools to help kill some time. Thanks
if i lived in cali id give you a hand. Had to replace mine twice when i had my first gen. its really simple, and easy to do with one person, they dont weigh much.. If you have experience doin it, why not... just do it lol.
the removing is the easy part...i just did a clutch job saturday on a 1st gen...it took a total of 3 hours...no compressor or power tools necessary...
