Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers if you are so inclined. We are being evacuated. If you were at Dave's memorial you will remember that Dave saved my house in the 2003 fires. This is scary. One of my friends in Lake Arrowhead has already lost her home. We will see what happens.

Hey Sandi, did your family have to evacuate because of the fires? My friend's family that lives in Running Springs had to evacuate this morning. 3 of his friend's houses went up in smokes already.

I'll post pics of the torched area this weekend. I also heard the DC10 clipped some trees on the wing tips while dumping fire retardant. I really hope they put that fire out.

I am home
Hi Everyone,
I am safely home. Only Cedar Pines Park and Valley of Enchantment are allowed up the mountain. We know 4 families so far that have lost their homes in Arrowhead.
I don't know how many in Running springs. Sad time for all those great people. I am grateful our home is okay.

I just wanted to take a moment to tell all of you great people how much I love and appreciate all you have done and been to me this last almost 10 months since Dave's death. I have had days when I thought I couldn't go on and them I would get a pm or something would show up that made me feel better.
I am thankful Dave had so many people who cared about him and that he was able to help in one way or other. This is my first major holiday without my Dave. I think I will be okay largely due to all of you and your care and concern. Who would have guessed that I could feel so cared about by people I didn't know until Dave's death. I am Thankful for all of you. I send my sincere thanks to all of you on this Thanksgiving. have a great holiday.
