Ditto, I can't think of anything else to say... I met Dave a long time ago and his knowledge of rotaries was incredible, and so was his personality. His loss is a huge loss to the rotary community as a whole. R.I.P.

I can't believe this, just the other day I was looking through some old pictures and I found a few of Dave. I wanted to give them to him so he can have them, so now I will share the pictures with every one.

So Dave while your looking down on us from heaven you can see that you'll be missed.

such a sad situation. makes me re-think my late night (3 or 4am) runs down the curvy road by the 'rents house. So scary that someone only 27 years old died in a car that I love. Also so sad and scary that someone a little bit older than me was affected in such a huge way by it. i'm not a spiritual person, so all my hopes and condolances for both familys.

RIP Dave.

My thoughts and hopes to Tamara for a fast, full recovery.

i had to tell one of the attorneys at my work what happened, because dave wanted to file a complaint against the el monte PD so i hooked him up over here. well the attorney said, "he seemed like a real honest guy that just had real bad luck, the kind of person that didn't have one malicious bone in his body, those are the kind of people that i like to associate with." not word for word but i remembered the best i could

Dave was a good man, who would give a stranger the shirt off his back. He was there for me when I went through a tough break-up, even bringing me a bottle of vodka and getting trashed with me. He's been there for me when I needed him, whether it was car or not car related. It stings real bad now that he's gone. All I can do now is try to be as good of a man as he was, so that he will live on in some small way, if that makes sense.

Yeah, I remember the first time I met him. I was on my way to his place and my alternator belt snapped. I didn't know until I came back to my car at a grocery store a couple miles away from his house and my car wouldn't start. I got a call from him asking if I was still dropping by and told him about the situation....he came by and jump started my car. A couple months later I got a flat because it gets flooded where he lives and I couldn't see the damaged pavement under the running water on a street leading to his house. Unfortunately someone had borrowed the jack in my trunk but Dave came by and changed my tire for me. Both times he did not act like it was a hassle and was glad to be able to help out. That was the person he was and anyone who met him would agree.

These little cars do not do well in accidents. Please keep that in mind when you risk your life and the lives of others when driving irresponsibly. Think about the effects the loss of your life would have on the people that love you. We all own these cars because we like to drive fast, but there is a time and place for that. Keep the speeds safe and sane until you get out on a track or have plenty of open road to yourself.

It took the exact same scenario before I wised up.

First pair pics are of my brothers FB followed by a pair from another unfortunate owner.

I first met Dave when he drove all the way from California one weekend just to check out a friend's RX-7. He even took the time while he was out here in Vegas to teach me some of his Haltech knowledge and show me his setup. When I'd asked him what I could do in return, I think he just laughed and asked for a beer. So, that post outlined Dave for me perfectly. RIP Dave, your memories and efforts will live on.

I dedicated thins song to guitarjunkie:

Seems like yesterday you used to rock the show
We laced the track, you locked the flow
So far from hanging on the block for dough
Guitarjunkie, they got to know that
Life ain't always what it seem to be
Words can't express what you mean to us
Even though you're gone, we still a team
Through your family, we'll fulfill your dream
In the future, can't wait to see
If you'll open up the gates for us
Reminisce some time, the night they took our friend
Try to black it out, but it plays again
When it's real, feelings hard to conceal
Can't imagine all the pain I feel
Give anything to hear half your breath
We know you still living your life, after death

Every step we take, every move we make
Every single day, every time we pray
We'll be missing you
Thinking of the day, when you went away
What a life to take, what a bond to break
we'll be missing you

We miss you Dave

It's kinda hard with you not around
Know you in heaven smiling down
Watching us while we pray for you
Every day we pray for you
Till the day we meet again
In our heart is where we'll keep you friend
Memories give me the strength we need to proceeds
Strength we need to believe
My thoughts Dave, we just can't define
Wish we could turn back the hands of time
Us in the six, shop for new clothes and kicks
You and me taking flicks
Making hits, stages they receive you on
Still can't believe you're gone
Give anything to hear half your breath
We know you still living you're life, after death

Somebody tell me why

One black morning
When this life is over
We know
We'll see your face

Every night we pray, every step we take
Every move we make, every single day
Every night we pray, every step we take
Every day that passes
Every move we make, every single day
Is a day that I get closer
To seeing you again
Every night we pray, every step we take
We miss you Dave... and we won't stop
Every move we make, every single day
Cause we can't stop... that's right
Every night we pray, every step we take
Every move we make, every single day
We miss you Dave (Guitarjunkie)

Original song by Puff daddy

So sad to hear. I never did get a chance to met him but i did talk to him on the phone once, about doing some work for me, back when he got his fc stolen, and he sounded like an honest guy. R.I.P.

Terrible if only Dave had an Airbag a working seatbelt and at least a absorber. he may have had a chance.

i have had cars in the shop just as worse as daves and more than a few of my customers walk away with bruises. with just having a complete bumper and a seatbelt... i see few airbags deploy cause sensors sometimes dont catch the impact.
