AL Why Can't I Gain Access To Any Pages?

Obviously, I am a member of the Mazda RX7 Forum. I have been a member since October of last year but I am being denied access to any of the groups. Why is this?

It seems a bit bazaar to be given membership but denying me access to any of the groups. Evidently I have missed something.

You have a grand total of one post. I believe you need 5 or 10 posts before you can post in the other areas of the forum.

Ten for most areas, I think the Lounge is 50 or so.

and stop asking what your car is worth..that just gets your thread wiped. It has nothing to do with the section you post in and is not in any way Tech or Intro related.

I've rebuilt an engine and swapped engines in the past but I have nothing going on now and probably never will. I'm 74 and in poor health so my mechanical adventures have come to an end. I guess I have no place here. Bye.

it doesn't take much to make a few posts, even though i am with you that it is kind of dumb but it does help keep the spam bots off the forum and annoying everyone. so take a few minutes to post an intro and a few +1's and get enough posts so that you can get into the for sale section.

Like I said before, I don'[t belong here. I have absolutely nothing worthwhile to contribute.

Here's the deal. I've driven RX-7s for 28 years. I rebuilt an engine, I have swapped engines and done other work on RX-7s. I am 74 years old now, in poor health and and am not capable of working on cars any longer.

All I wanted was some advice on how I might sell the RX-7 I currently have. I have not driven it since October and want it out of my garage.

I did not intend to kill anyone, burn their house down, rape them, steal their wife or hack someone and steal their life savings. All I wanted was some advice.

I apologize if I inconvenienced anyone.

Walt,

After reading your post it sure sounds like you belong, considering your experience. I can also understand age creeping up though. The problem is I doubt you will find a fast and hard formula on what values are.

https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuati...-Mazda-RX~7-GS

1980 Mazda RX7 Value | 2 Door Coupe GS Prices and Book Value

in these two examples there is such a spread on a value on paper, it is hard to compare the two. www.bringatrailer.com could be another source. you can browse eBay and check things out over there. Hell, you can donate it to a charity and get a tax incentive if you just want it gone and the idea of selling seems unfavorable.

unfortunately it is how the forum works to keep the bots off, i already gave my suggestion so that you can post in the general forums to get peoples perspective value.

it only takes a few minutes, you don't have to invest anything more than that to the forum to get an opinion that you're asking.

Prices on these cars have risen a rediculous amount in the last few years, you should be able to get a decent price depending on the condition provided you’re not selling an FB
