I have no idea how many times I've tapped one forum but the ad loaded right before my finger got there and I tapped a random other forum instead.

Confusion ensues.

Set a height on the ad's containing element to reserve that space on the Dom?

Another option would be to set the ad div style to display:none until it is loaded and document ready.
