Getting rid of advertisements?

I know that there are other forums that you can subscribe to and pay a small monthly fee to get rid of advertisements. Does RX-7 club offer anything like this?

i wouldn't mind tossing you guys a bit of moneys to remove the ads completely. i don't really get on much but i'm always busy. Me personally I wouldn't mind sending 25 or 30 for it.

hmm.
If you pay all the fees that the Vendors and other advertisers pay InternetBrands to operate this site,.,and Double it..
I think that may be considered....and I want a Pony!..(I'm kidding of course!)

Remember it is a FREE site for you and others...and that is the main thing,so having guys advertising potential products should be a God send and not a hinderance for you to enter and enjoy what the site has to offer.
You stated that you do not get on much,so the advertising shouldn't hurt you when you are not here enough to see what the Site truly has to offer.

The ads give me ideas as to what kind of options I can ponder.Seeing parts advertised makes me wonder how, what, why, what if.,,.and so on..

So really it's not just "buy this stuff"..it's Hmm!?...I wonder!..

I agree, my biggest complaint is some of the vendors who use crappy video players (slows my computers down...) and when on mobile (the app doesn't always work with pictures) the advertisements that block half of the picture with a tiny little x to close.... Don't try and bait me with gimmicky tricks...

So yes, ads are good and useful. Bad ads that aren't held to a certain standard are annoying.

There is always a 'cup half full' look at things so Just think that I already drank the first half and If I want the other half it is up to me!

If you think that is annoying try Hitting someone's Photobucket or other picture site and getting those Damn things that go "Computer at Risk!!..Fix NOW."..
Ya..Freakin Hammer Time!

Statistically speaking though I want to say only 10% of the ads are relevant to rx7/automotive products. On just three pages I was offered Brother printers, GRE admissions test, window replacement (home, not auto), Hobrecht (home decor), sprint cell phones, salad dressing, lee jeans, american express, epson projectors, Amazon for running shoes. Somewhat relevant being Acura and Jeep leases. Relevant being the rx7.com banner that's on about every page (no complaint here, clean banner no graphics and there was a turbo blanket ad which is relevant.

I get it, this site has to make money but aren't most of these ads pay per click? Also, norotors.com, hidplanet all have little to no ads. Just seems odd rx7club needs tons of ads everywhere to keep up and running. I'm not here to argue it doesn't, I just wanted to pay for an ad free version lol.

..a little more defense to the site.
NO Rotors means Pistons..right?..and they are a dime a dozen..

Try finding spinning Triangles in an engine..

Anyways,I hope you log in more and don't find the site too "annoying for ads".
Cheers STYX (MOD)
