That fitment is perfect. On another note that is a great idea with the cup holder I never thought to hang one in the glove box.

The knobs should be threaded on as hard as you can by hand. The threads actually have a slight taper, so the more you tighten the knob the tighter it will get. You will have a very hard time tearing the threads out by hand, the material is much stronger then most people expect. It will take a little over 300 ft lbs to tear the threads out. In a few cases (mostly on vintage cars) we've found that the threads on the shifter are slightly worn. A little teflon tape will take up the slack.

Just ordered mine! cant wait to get it
We're having an interesting time taking a picture of a white ball on a white background :)
They should be live on our website in the next day or so, just waiting for the photos at this point. |
New thread posted for the white ones in order to keep things sorted out.

The delrin knobs are around 82 grams. We are working on a line of heavier ones, but at this time I'n not sure when they will be ready.
We are hoping early Feb. Right now we are reworking some of the tooling as it's starting to wear out.
Heavier ones should be ready soon, we are just stocking the shelves good and full of the delrin ones right now, and then we will be starting in on the other materials.
Just saw the new colors on the website, looking good! Like that you guys just keep coming out with new stuff for the FC3S! How about some delrin diff mounts next!!!
Heavier ones, you say? I'd like one of those.
I wouldn't mind it in white too. The FC's interior's gutted, so it'd match the pure whiteness going on, haha. |

We're working on them actually, just need to finish up the prototypes and then do a few tests installs.
We just finished up anther batch of delrin knobs.
As a side note, mine came in a while back, and I'm enjoying it.
We now have the m10 pattern in a 44mm for those who wanted a smaller knob.
