Heat is going to be your issue the small engine bay with a big engine that generates alot of heat I would strongly recommend having the headers coated an having some type of vented hood

I'm running a Griffin rad and we laid it back and use a stewart warner pump. The car runs all day long at 170 degrees and we can raise the temp just by using grille tape.

An air intake type hood would help as well, rather than stock. Nothing a big radiator and fans won't fix.
