Thinking about selling....parting... What?

I have been tossing around the idea of selling my car.. I am not looking to give it away and don't need to sell but am thinking of taking a few years off from the tuner scene, doing a few track days a season with a miata again, and saving my cash up for a 911. Is the market soft right now? I am aware that custom cars don't share an asking price with the sum of the parts. But at what point is a part out the only way to recoup the value? There is over $20,000 in parts alone in my build.. Here is my basic build sheet, tell me what your recommendation is...

1987 T2 w/ 95k on the chassis
All parts below NEW with 1000 miles.
Jasper LS1 with trunnion upgrade
Tremec magnum 6 speed
MSD Atomic LS EFI
QuickTime bellhousing
Holley 12-700 pump/filter
Holley FPR
15gal fuel cell
Kirk Racing cage
Holley alternator bracket
Hooker manifolds
2.5 stainless exhaust w/ magnaflow
Solid billet belt tensioner
Ron Davis radiator
Granny's full swap kit
EBC yellow pads, cross drilled and slotted rotors
Willwood 1" clutch master
Stance Coilovers
Racing Beat anti-Sway bars, end links, dtss eliminator etc.
Rear strut bar
TSW nurburgring 17x9 wheels with Azenzis tires..
More I can't remember..

Hate to part out a running driving track beast, but..... I think my desire to see $17,000 out of it might be a pipe dream. The car is half stripped inside, and the windshield needs replacement. Paint is a 6.5 out of 10, but the body is straight.

What is realistic? Mine isn't a typical build... The engine and trans were $9000 alone..

I would really like an air cooled, but would also consider a well recorded 2001+.

You better part it out if you want to get top value out of it. I think you'd be lucky to get $15k at this time for the car.

That's what I was worried about.. I may just keep driving it until I get closer to having the cash for the 911. The build was a little frustrating and now that it is actually functioning like it is supposed to I have just been considering my options.. I'm going to finish up the interior and replace the cracked windshield and see what I feel like.

I would do that. It is not going to go down in value anyway. Now that you are close to being dialed in.. go enjoy it and make it faster. :) It is going to whip almost any 911 more than 10 years old...

It is rediulously fast I have got the tune about right... I guess the value wont go up or down at this point. It wont see many miles in general. Took it out today for about an hour.. Doing an autocross this weekend.

Is your Jasper LS1 a stock rebuild or is it cammed?
