Man is that ugly.

But seriously though, as stated, my ls1 fits under the stock hood no problem. I looked into getting a vented hood like the Scoot hood, and that I don't think would fit, but the stock one does just fine.

Funny thing is that is a 3rotor car.

RotorMotor 01-08-04 03:00 PM

no that looks like a 13b! thank god its not a 3rotor..... what a sad sad day that would be if you poped the hood of this "muscle car" and there was a 3rotor staring back at you! i think i had a nightmare just like this  it needs an LS1 in there thoughhttp://www.geocities.com/rip_aus/rx7s7show.jpg

RotorMotor, humor me and measure the dimensions of your 20B. I'll head down to the garage and measure the dimensions of my LT1. $5 says it's smaller, sits lower and farther back in the chassis, and weighs less than your boat anchor... :)

RotorMotor 01-08-04 07:16 PM

you dont have to tell me that... this is info i already know   the 20b is a freakin pig! then add in the intercooler, and all that silly stuff and now i have an obesity problem! the only reason i picked the 20b was for the relative "ease" hahahahaha of instalation. im by no means a very skilled mechanic / parts fabricator so i wanted something somewhat straight forward (what a joke huh?). anyway, most of the parts needed for a 20b conversion are availible, and it bolts up to the factory tranny. i think there is less fabrication w/ the 20b though. all i need to make is a downpipe and intercooling tubing. im not sure whose engine is "better" because if i were to get the 20b to match your power, you could always go FI. its a never ending chase.....i think a v8 would be able to make more RELIABLE power at vey high HP levels though. anyway, i was just poking fun... when i saw the car i thought of you!

BTW any word on another run of those bushings? later, heath

Rotor motor it is a 20b car. The owner is a Swedish and is over in sweden, I believe or norway. Car used to be red. There was site that had shown the whole process.
