Mating a T-5 to a 327

Hey I am curious about the bellhousing adapter to use! This is a 327 of out my 64 Impala and I am attempting to pair it to a T5 From a Camaro, I thought I would ask for some help here before I called Holley! Any recommendations or advice would be awesome.

I would think it would bolt up. This site is more geared towards this kind of stuff.

....it's the same engine?

Unless you got the trans from a V6, in which case just throw it out or something. The gear ratios are garbage and it is a lot weaker than even the V8 T5 that a 327 would still probably shred.

But literally, Chevy used the same bellhousing bolt pattern AND transmission pattern for all small blocks, 1955 to the end of production in 1998 or whenever it was. Gen II had the same bellhousing pattern but GM's manual transmission supplier stopped using a full bellhousing and went to a ring bellhousing, but the old stuff bolts up. Gen III has the same bellhousing pattern with one bolt removed and no longer has a clutch pivot mount, but the old stuff bolts up...

Forgot about the v6

any sbc should works. This site has a pretty definitive listing of cars and t5 trannies, gearing etc.
