LS1 swap into FC

What are your opinions on it? I know hinsonsupercars.com sells the parts needed for a swap, and i just popped my motor, and was considering it an option for reliability. Has anyone here done an LS1 swap on their FC? What problems did you encounter, what exactly needs to be done for the swap to go smoothly? Any input is appreciated, and please.. dont flame me for thinkin about it:)

It's way more work than a 13b swap or rebuild.
I've seen some really clean ones.
From what the owners say it's about equal to what it takes to build a 450hp 13b.
They can easily become a money pit.
They are a tricky to control, which takes much of the fun away.

O- yea- & they sound funny.

There's a whole different forum for other motor swaps within the rx7club.com.

Now before all the asshats with their opinions that border a mild sensation of facism arrive, find it.

Great reliability, about $8000 for the swap, much easier to drive than a 450 hp rotary, 12.6@113 on street tires in the 1/4, Hinson is the man for the swap.
