Help with the LS1 conversion.....

I am about to do the LS1 conversion on my 3rd gen.... And am getting all the parts from Hinson, so that should help everything run together smoothly. I hear the conversion is pretty easy.... but takes some time, around 120 man hours i have heard? But my main question is.... is there anyone out there who has done the swap already and is willing to give me some pointers and well, pretty much kinda walk me through it so i dont mess up anywhere along the line. I would appreciate it ladies and gents! eithe post on here or feel free to e-mail me at WakeBorder1@aol.com
Thanx again!

I think jimlab member is working on it. And it will take more then 120man hours - that's like what ? 15 work days ? yea right... :)

Good luck though !

Ya, but Brian Hinson says that since all the parts are coming from him, it should all just pretty much fit right in. Atleast thats what i am hoping.

I don't think it will be easy by any means. Check out www.torquecentral.com; you will find a lot more info there, and a lot more people willing to help.

a guy named Andrew has done it and took him probably about 120 hrs. His screen name is Wingsfan I think. He just started and is about to finish up when he gets back to the US. I'm sure he would be of great help. I have done the V8 swap but with an LT1. I would help but I think it is a whole different ball game
