is there any where to find true dual exhaust for a v8 swap that will fit under an fc? none of this 2 into 1 then back to 2.

You'd have to fab it up yourself, its probably the only way. Not many choose to do the V8 swap, and when they do they pretty much have to figure shit out for themselves. I'd be curious to see if you can fit two 2" pipes side by side along where the cats go, once you get to the y-pipe you don't have anything to worry about.

Custom is the way to go. Headers with 1 7/8 primaries and 3 in collectors to full custom 3 in exhaust seems good.

My FC has full length 1 7/8 headers with 3 1/2"x9" collectors and dual 3" exhaust with Dynomax Race series mufflers. It fits fine under the car.

The only problem you might run into is around the gas tank. I've got a fuel cell in the hatch and no gas tank so it didn't matter for mine, but when you run the pipes under the rear subframe and bend them towards the sides, the tank makes it a tight fit. If you use shorter mufflers it's not really a problem.

Midas did the work on mine, and even though I know the guy who did it and he's good, any other exhaust shop should have no problem oing the same thing. It's really not a complicated setup.

Rx-Ben did mine (2.5" true dual off stock LS1 headers) using mandrel bends from summit with some straight sections, two short glasspacks, one X-pipe crossover and nope, I dont run any mufflers. there is plenty of room for dual 2.5" pipes and the X-pipe can be under the driveshaft. we chose the middle of the driveshaft for X-pipe location to avoid heat under either of the driveshaft joints. using the Hinson tranny brace/mount is great because it is notched to keep the driver side piping above the brace/mount and up inside the tranny tunnel. there was plenty of room under the back of the subfrme to put a glasspack/bullet on each pipe, well before the stock muffler locations... so if you want to run resonators (get short ones) and mufflers, yes that is completely possible. I have straight pipe sections running back thru where the stock mufflers go and they can be swapped out for mufflers if need be (because of sound levels) but its totally streetable now

definitely a tight fit for dual 3" though... you could do it sure, but be prepared to do a lot of little bends/jonts ( = a lot more welds) for it to snake through the areas with small passages.
