Companies making FC conversion parts?

I am familiar with Granny's in Washington. I built my FC with a V8 back in 2001.

What other companies are making conversion parts (specifically I am interested in transmission mounts for the T56)

TIA

The only other companies making fc conversion parts that I’m familiar with are Ronin Speedworks and CX Racing.

I might buy it, or fabricate something. I want it to mount to the stock Mazda mounting points if possible.

Run the Ronin mount. It is the best on the market and lightest, and allows most exhaust clearance. You have to remove the factory trans mount provisions unless you run the engine far forward, that means you need to run a more complicated engine mount setup.

Do you know of any photos showing the Ronin mount installed? With and without exhaust?

Unless I'm not viewing these photos properly it looks like the factory mounts do not have to be removed regardless of if they are used or not, no? Shown is a T56 and an LSsomething. Transmission width does not appear to be a problem. Please correct me if I am misinterpreting these photos.

Those photos are showing the left hand side of that mount bolted to the factory location. The right side mounts on a 45* angle which they are not showing.

As others have recommended, Ronin makes very high quality products and you won’t be disappointed with their mount.

Try searching norotors for an answer to that. A lot of Ronin customers over there.

I have not looked at my transmission mount since I built the car in 2001, so I've forgotten exactly what they look like.

Are you saying the CX Racing transmission mount does not use the factory mount location on the right side?

Thanks I will try searching it using google. I cannot search using the norotors website, because their database would not let me register. Some error. Unable to find someone at norotors to contact.

If you look at my thread in this section there is a picture of a T5 crossmember that shows the left and right side mounting bolts. It may not be quite 45* but the right side is definitely on an angle. I can’t imagine someone making an aftermarket mount and not using the factory holes but it’s really hard to see the angle on the right side of the cx racing mount.
