Coil springs and a V8
Is it a good idea to get heavier front springs when installing a V8 in a 1st gen? Is it always necessary?

Anybody?

i think your average v8 conversion adds around 100-150lbs to the front, so what i would do is take the springs rates you want and add around 50lbs/in to the front srpings. (225-275, whatever)
if you leave the rates alone, your gonna end up with a more tail happy car. (fronts will be softer than they should be in relation to the rear) |
Oh, ok. I wanted the fronts to be a little softer. Thanks! :)
