May not fit between the strut towers...but someone did a 1UZ swap in a FB so it may fit if that fit

Coyote might be too big and way too expensive. An LS would be way more cost efficient as far as power gains. But I would still love to see it

Yes, but massive DOHC on each bank of a V8 is insurmountable. It simply won't fit with both height and width of engine. That's why a Cam-In-Block V8 is going to be your best bet. Why not go for an E-Rod LS3 Kit and then hit up Comp Cams for valvetrain/cam configuration? 600whp NA would be fun.

I'd go with an aluminum block chevy 3.6L V6 from a Colorado. 308 hp @ 6,800 rpm stock.
