Trapped 122 in the 1/4 Mile! Half - bridge and BW366

I've been tinkering with this car for years and finally got it running properly so I took it to the drag strip (cheaper than a dyno.) I wasn't sure what to expect because I built it and tuned it entirely myself. I knew it was fast, though, so I was hopeful. I'm about to drop in a Walbro 450 and upgrade the hard lines to run E85 (I've already done everything else), and is curious what I could run on stock lines and a Walbro 255.

I figured I only had one good pass because of the heat so I kept it at what I had been running, which was 20 psi (though it fell off some towards redline.)

I had a junk launch and bogged it pretty good leading to a 2.27 60', but ran 8.31@96 in the 1/8th and 12.36@122 in the 1/4 mile! I decidedly smoked a challenger 392 SRT with drag radials which was very satisfying.

I know I've got more time with a good launch, but it was just too damn hot and I need to improve my ducting. Hopefully I'll be back in a few weeks and can break into the 11s!

Nice mate, That trap is good for mid to low 11s..

You can also through the 4.3 final ratios in it to help that there..

Personally I would replace the lines... Yes they are aluminium however I think they are only -6AN ? Check my build thread in my sig i am currently going through this process atm...
However for 20psi you will need at least x2 walbro 460s..... injectors may be a push....

Yeah, I'm putting in 1/2" stainless feed and 3/8" return lines. From what I have seen the one pump should be enough, but if I start running out I'm going to put in a surge tank with dual pumps since that walbro pump can still feed a ton at low pressures.

Hmm I personally don't think there is a need for surge tank.. You know the FC tanks have a small 1 litre baffle inside them already? and you can fit two walbro's in there fairly easy...

I think the key is to have a certain about of pressure through your reg... I am still trying to figure it all out, but you need min 43psi for around that 500hp mark... Anything more and it needs to increase....

The surge tank is actually for road course racing, which is what the car is built for. There is a track nearby with a NASCAR style banked turn and I don't want to have to worry about keeping a full tank while there.

Very impressive time! Congrats!

122mph down the track is impressive! How soon do you see full boost?
