question

ok, ive been deployed for the past....well total year. got to come home for a month and bought and FC, had a new Mazda reman. put in and have been ordering parts for about 3 months. when i get home in a week (haulleluyea) i will have (engine wise)...

S-AFC 2
720cc secondaries
Apexi Daul N1 catback
Apexi 2.75 dp
HKS bov
hks type 0 turbo timer
greddy profec b 2
255lph warblo pump (i will rewire)
R-tek 1.5 (unless 2.0 comes out soon)
and ive upgraded to a S5 manifold and an S5 turbo with a ported compressor housing and upgraded compressor (i think the AR is .61, but im not positive)

do you think ill be able to hit the 280hp mark?

280hp at the wheels?
No ways.

E46 compressor?
T04E "46"?
It'll barely make it.

With an upgraded turbo and some dyno time isn't 250rwhp possible?

But on the other hand, I'd definitely look into getting a fmic. And what is a R-tek 1.5? And right now you still need a fcd if you don't have one. 2 keys to making good power is the fmic and ems.

If it's a T04E "46", the wheels is kinda small.
It will barely make 280 at the wheels.

the R-Tek is an ecu flash done by www.pocketlogger.com

check it out, its not made for HUGE power, but should support 280.

the 1.5 model features

Lower secondary injection to ~3500rpm
Increase primary injector duty cycle cap by ~5%
Timing retard above 9psi; ~1deg per psi.
Built in FCD
AWS removal
programed support for 720cc secondaries

a lot of people on teamfc3s.org have it and seem to like it. tons of them are waiting for v2.0 to come out that will include a feature to unflood the engine without popping the hood and pulling fuses.

a front mount is definately in the works, but gonna have to deploy or wait for tax season for that one.

How much HP does your fc make on a turbo like that?

Cause mine does 270rwhp at 10psi. Safe tuning, and stock IC. On a stage 1 from BNR. So you should be able to hit 280 with more boost. I don't see why not.

PS: Oh, and only a 2.5" Dp

280 shouldn't be too hard if you tune it just right. The 46 trim is just a little bit bigger than stock, but still can make 280 RWHP if the engine can handle some boost.
