pump gas vid!

Well, I went to the drag strip last night. I figured it would be fun to see what I could do on 91 octane. Figured I would not get kicked off the track @ 15 PSI. As you can see from the video, I was DEAD WRONG...

I cant imagine how much power I must have been making, but thats about as low as I can go boost wise. Big props go Glen over at AZRR, that motor just doesnt know when to quit!!

junito1 04-08-07 03:21 PM

Yeah, its the 2-step that is with the haltech.

No_Rotor_RX7 04-08-07 10:08 PM

ah man, the act finally gave up? either way for 15psi that is fuckin movin!

J-Rat 04-09-07 12:00 AM

Yeah, but I still have an ACT, its just a 4-puck now.

88rxn/a 04-09-07 08:05 AM

hows the driveability with a 4 puck now?
im gonna need something that isnt to harsh on the highway;)

RotaryEvolution 04-09-07 11:56 AM

i never notice any difference with pucks on the highway unless they are unsprung, driving on pucks in town is not a good idea, you will soon hate driving your car in traffic.

No_Rotor_RX7 04-09-07 12:08 PM

it all depends on if you get that insane rediculous Extreme pressure plate. omfg that is retarded hahahaha.

Very nice man. Was the "competition" out for a sunday drive?

J-Rat 04-09-07 01:27 PM

Yeah, the mustang got beat by exactly 4.9 seconds. I talked to him later in the evening and he was really cool. Said he didnt see that one coming, and then I told him it was a 1.3 liter motor and his jaw dropped...:)

Yes, yes it is. :D

zbrown 04-10-07 12:06 PM

man i love how easy it seems to get out of the hole and down the track...

that didnt even seem like a super hard launch..... what kind of 60ft did you acheive on that run?

J-Rat 04-10-07 12:10 PM

It was one of my slower 60 foots at exactly 1.70, I usually get mid 1.6s. Its relatively drama free on the launch because its set pretty stiff. If I start having problems spinning the ET Streets, I will have to loosen up the shocks a bit to get the weight transfer. But for now the ET Streets seem to be holding up just fine.
