Just went 10.5@145.7 mph on an NA rear end!

Dont throw those NA rears out just yet! Very lax 60 foot, but let it spin with some sidewall cushion and she will last, at least for a season! Wonder if this is some sort of record.

Car is a TII, but using an NA rear end because of the driveshaft mounting flange. It aint broke (yet) so Im not fixing it! :)

Open diff or LSD?

I got about 50 launches or so out of my NA open diff before the spider gears stripped. Everything else is fine...I'm sure a LSD would work better. Once you get the LSD though it seems to put a lot more stress on the transmission and that pops next. I considered the open diff a "fuse" because you would break traction before it would load up enough to hurt the transmission.

LSD.

Trans is a stock T56....so not worried about that breaking.
