HKS PFC F-Con vs APEXI SAFC
Fellas, I have a f-con in my ride now. i could sale it for the price of a safc and pay $500 for a good tune, or pay $200 more and get a HKS GCC for the F-con.
The safc is 12 pt programmable at 200rpm increments. 50% richer or ?50%(leaner). 1% dev The f-con has 10 settings, options for upgrade roms, and the GCC is 6pt programmable @ set rpm increments, 12% leaner 16% richer.combined that is a lot of tunablitiy but i would be able to tune it easier myself than the SAFC. usd version jdm version [/IMG]http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/2...fc2fullrq4.jpg what would you do? Im looking for fact based responses, or personal experiences |

I made the jump from an SAFCII to a Microtech and would never go back. |
the jdm version is 6 pt adjustable. the usd is 5pt but if you look at the usd vs jdm the usd increments would be better for a FC. especially considering the 6th increment on the jdm is for 8000rpm. useless for my TII

standalone is $1000 + tune and misc parts. im just DD,but want to save some gas. if i turbo upgrade ever i will go standalone but not for the stock blo dryer.

in my opinion i would stay with the f-con cause in the early 90's there was or is guys that made over 300hp on the rx7s, i think there is guys that still burns roms for that piggy back, and gccc they go for less that 200 just look around on ebay you'll get lucky cause a month ago i saw one go for 180

I'm a fan of the SAFC. Go for a neo though. I have had the II and have the neo now in my car - haven't officially tuned it, but the software is quite a bit better. Plus way more points to adjust to.
