In my experience Dyno Jets read HIGH, which is why that NA made 171 - with that said your car only making 224 is extremely low as on that dyno I would expect your car to make about 350 at that boost level.

I would definitely check for restrictions somewhere. I myself had an issue with my secondary butterflies being stuck which was restricting some airflow. Definitely need to do some investigation.

Bump from almost a year ago. Not sure how many people are still kicking it old school with the BNR + Rtek setups. It seems like we are a dying breed. I'll admit that I also intend to go standalone with a Borg Warner EFR turbo at some point next year. However after visiting the dyno last week, I don't think I need to rush into those changes quite yet.

Mod List:

S4 13BT keg
S6 FD3S Rotors, high RPM clearanced by Racing Beat
Rotating assembly balanced by Racing Beat
Racing Beat upgraded stationary gears
Big street ports from Pineapple Racing templates
Updated large dowel casting rear iron, drilled 3/8ths deeper
Custom 3/8ths extended rear upper dowel
Non doweled engine stud kit
DeatschWerks 800cc primary and 1000cc secondary injectors
DeatschWerks DW300 340 lph fuel pump
S5 BNR Stage 3 turbo with wastegate upgrade
Custom true 3 inch downpipe + test pipe from John Gleason
Custom 3 inch catback
Stock ignition coils, Magnecor Wires, 4x NGK 5255 BUR9EQ platinum plugs
Snow Performance Stage 2 water meth injection system running Snow Performance Boost Juice
93 octane premix 1 oz per gallon Evenrude Johnson TC-W3 non synthetic
Tuned on Rtek 2.1 by myself with help/advise from Derrick Elder (engine builder) at DMS Auto in La Crosse, WI

2 Years ago I visited a dynojet with my car. Back then it still had the same turbo, porting, fuel, ecu etc. The main differences with the setup consisted of old S5 internals, no water meth injection and a more restrictive exhaust. It made 347 whp and 289 lb-ft at 12 psi on 93 octane premix with somewhat aggressive ignition timing.

Last Wednesday was the first time since then that the car has seen a dyno. We did quite a few pulls on Western Technical College's Mustang Dyno during an open house demonstration day to clean up my fuel trims through the power band and tune in my water meth kit. My ignition timing map is based off of the boost based timing maps in the Rtek thread on this forum. We pulled back ignition timing in boost to 15 degrees and set the water meth to stage on at 4 psi with full flow at 8 psi. It ended up putting down 402 whp and 324 lb-ft at the same 11-12 psi boost level we were running 2 years ago. Power began to taper off above 7500 rpm due to restriction in the turbo's hot side.

Needless to say I was quite pleased, as these numbers were considerably better than expected (especially on a mustang dyno). I read back through quite a few posts in this thread, but I didn't read them all. I'm curious if anyone knows what the record is for FC BNR stage 3 turbos? Hoping I'm at least in the ballpark for my boost level.

It would be record, and that's how I know something is not right with your results. Your boost is reporting low or the dyno is reporting high. Or, both. Sorry.
That's why dyno racing is pointless.
Great results, anyways.
