2nd trip to the Strip...
Went back to the track a couple weeks ago.
Notched up the Boost controller to get it dialed in to right around what it was tuned on Pump gas for. Made 6 passes. 1st 3 were at 10.5 psi. 4th was with the BC off, and was running on my 10psi wastegates (to see if it made any difference). Then I started to notch up the Boost Controller to get it up to 12ish psi. 5th run was 11.5psi, then notched it up a few more and 6th run was at 12.2psi. 1st 3 were consistant 12.6's @117. 4th was bad because I left off at the 1/8th. 5th run: 11.5psi R/T .477 60 2.141 330 5.449 1/8 8.063 MPH 95.65 1000 10.305 1/4 12.193 MPH 119.96 6th run: 12.2psi R/T .769 60 2.015 330 5.322 1/8 7.921 MPH 96.29 1000 10.147 1/4 12.019 MPH 120.93 This is on stock suspension, 7" wide Kumho Ecsta SPT's. My car weighs 3000 lbs with me in it as it sits. I almost stayed and made 1 more run to hit 11's, but I was happy with the MPH, as I was shooting for 120 on low boost anyway. I knew she had it in her. |
What kind of turbo are you using ? Seems pretty fast...

119mph on 12psi? that's excellent!!!!! you running stock wheels or something? man if you can come out of the hole a little harder you'll be in the 11's eaaaasy :D

I'll be doubling the boost here in the next month, so hoping to just skip the 11's all together :) |
