my shifting sucks, so does my launching... using 245 width sumitomo street rubber. made 14 passes that night with no clutch fade or overheating issues :]

not bad at 8.2 on the 1/8
Thats from my estimate a low 13 to high 12 pass on the 1/4
what mods you got on the car

fidelity101 09-14-10 08:43 PM

I've ran 15 flat in my car in the 1/4 with an NA car and was able to run high 7s low 8s in the 1/8 mile, its all how well you hook up. I'll have to look for the slip or re create it later this year.

streetport, knight sports turbo, supporting mods.

what fidelity said makes absolutely no sense.

Nice. Kinda blurry vids, but nice passes... How much boost? Wonder what it would do in the 1/4? A N/A is definitely not going to have the 'power' for the second half of the 1/4...

What RPM were you launching at? Were you slipping the clutch? Nice looking passes. :)

arghx 09-15-10 07:38 AM

impressive 60 foot time considering the tires

K-Tune 09-15-10 10:17 AM

yes i was slipping the clutch. i don't know what rpm i was leaving at, wasn't watching tach :[

i run around 12psi.

arghx 09-15-10 12:08 PM

K-Tune 09-15-10 04:01 PM

i ran an 8.43 with a 1.9 60ft, nitto drag radials 245s. i launch at around 6k but i dont have the clutch fully pressed when staging i press it just enough were its about to start gripping, from experience it has improved my launches greatly and reduces chances of snapping axles. mods were stock 88turboii with gslse secondary injectors 13psi. 3inch dp, fuel cut defender. thats it.

good to kno  ive snapped a stubby though =\ burning out in first is not the best idea, i got some wheel hop and snapped it inside the diff.. i do a burn out in second now its way better and the tires warm up faster of course.

flaco 09-20-10 12:08 PM

second gear burnout and lauch at 8k get some real slicks and you wont hop
