What kind of ET should I expect with 435HP?

With ET street tires and what would it run on regular street tires. Lets just say, what SHOULD my car run with a good driver and this horsepower. Thanks,

Brady Mahoney

High 10's. I dynoed 335rwhp and have run 11.7X ET many times. Alot has to do with the driver. I would like a shot at driving your car:D

435 rwh or flywheel????

If its rear wheel horsepower...... very high 10's with good traction and driving with traps in the 122-124mph range.

Good Luck.

I can't wait to see what my car will do. I'll hopefully be putting down 400rwhp+ on stock wheels and tires.:D CJ

Yeah same stock wheels and tires but up the HP to 550rwhp. I expect it will be a mobile smoke hazard.

Thats good, I was hoping I was'nt the only person around here that was going to be running a big single on factory wheels/tires! :D CJ

good luck with traction..and post time slips..

pp13bnos 03-03-04 11:59 PM

Traction? That was a problem with the stock twins! I just look for mph mostly. :D CJ

The factory wheels are probably the best thing for drag racing. Now the stock tires are a completely different story. In order to get any kind of good traction with high horsepower rx7, you need some drag radials.

That's friggen crazy , :jaw drops: either your 7 weighs close to nothing or your freakin an awesome driver. BTW what kind of tires were you runnin.

He'd post in the South forum every couple months with at least another .2 taken off his ET. Everytime he posted it was with a quicker time.

I think fastrx7man was the one with a huge Excel spreadsheet that had all his runs in it, like 60+

My car weighed in at 3015, with me in it, just about every time I weighed it at the track.

I run ET Streets...

I finally gave up shooting for 11.5 ET and went single. Now I am shooting for high 10's on a stock ported motor.
