wanted to post up my results of my project, T60-1 turbo at 15PSI . more than I expected i'm very happy with the results, tuned by frank here at World Wide Racing in opa locka, FL.

93vrfd_houston 11-11-06 07:31 AM

nice set up, what h/p are you shooting for?

RX7Junkman 11-11-06 08:19 AM

I was hoping for a little over 300, but was very suprised when it got to 360HP 303 Torque

RE-Amemiya 11-11-06 08:19 AM

Good numbers!

93FD3S 11-11-06 10:56 AM

Running that 60-1, you should be right around 350-375 on 15psi on a healthy motor. Depending on your mods.

02ws6 11-11-06 01:06 PM

A stock LS1 has more torque than that. lol im just messin with ya. Thought i would shake things up a bit. Nice numbers BTW.

Naegleria_Fowleri 11-11-06 01:16 PM

Definitely some good numbers. May I ask how much boost you were running, though?

KeloidJonesJr. 11-11-06 01:16 PM

What was the temperature that day? Dyno it when it's raining ;)

RX7Junkman 11-11-06 01:46 PM

it was a fairly cool day we did the dyno between 4:30-5:30pm the hottest the car got was 200 on the 6th pull

He stated on the opening line that he was at 15 psi ;)

I used to crush stock WS6s making less torque than that :ky:

Well my car has crushed a brand new zo6 and a ford gt 40. I have a vid of me crushing the new ls7 vette if you want me to post it. My t/a puts down 420 rwhp on all motor. And i have a 150 shot on top of that :)

enough that a 320 rwhp FD would whoops him off the sauce ;) :bottom:

02ws6 11-12-06 10:29 AM

My car weighs 3360. Give me some time. I will try to find the video. Its kinda old

02ws6 11-12-06 10:33 AM

Actually i already found the video, here it is. I will admit the video is way too long. It was my 1st video ever to make. The background music sucks, etc. Just fast forward to the end. And goodfella. There is no way a rx7 with 320rwhp could beat me when im using or NOT using the juice. sorry. Anyways here is the video.

GoodfellaFD3S 11-12-06 12:51 PM

I'm surprised your car is so light, have you removed lots of stuff?

Definitely a fast car man. the 320 rwhp quote was based off a curb weight of 3700ish pounds. I lives in TX for 5 years so had the opportunity to race lots of TAs and WS6s, never lost to one.

Anyway, your car is pretty fast on the spray, I'll give you that.

Yes i have removed some stuff. Cats are gone, rear seats, gone. Some other stuff that i can't remember. the 3360 was w/o me in it and a 1/4 tank gas. And a t-top ws6 curb weight is around 3550. A convertible would be around 3700.

On spray your car is about as fast as 400 -425 rwhp FD. Quick car.

RotaryEvolution 11-12-06 01:53 PM

way to bring this thread off track...

Improved FD 11-12-06 01:59 PM

faster on naws or not, comparing a C6 to an F body is like comparing an F-16 to a float plane

sleek and sexy vs. bulbous and ponderous

jacobcartmill 11-13-06 02:22 PM

those numbers are low.

as someone else stated, you should be at 375whp or so at 15psi

a ws6 would get eaten by several buss lengths by that car.

"lolim just messin with ya. Thought i would shake things up a bit."

550rwhp in a ws6 aint shit enough to come on here talking shit bro. most single turbos would eat your shit up.

anyways...what kind of traps are u running?

GoodfellaFD3S 11-13-06 07:49 PM

Ah, matty stirs the pot again....kills section kinda slow ;)?

so with 15 less "or so" whp, his numbers are low? you do realise also that not every dyno reads the same? sounds like he's pretty close to the norm to me

BASTARD 01-01-07 02:03 PM

without knowing whether the motor is ported or not and if it's running on pump fuel. I would say those numbers are pretty good...

Oh... and 02ws6 don't take this personally but that Trans Am is one of the F'ing ugliest car on the street

for the timing not sure, as for the motor it is a stock engine (soon to be race ported)
