CYM at the drags in New Hampshire

Was really angry cause I only got 2 runs in. It was a great night to race too. Not too hot and barely any cars. Haven't had the car at WOT before and ran a 13.52 with a 2.187 60' time. Trapped at 104. I only realized after that I was on low boost setting.

Second run I spun all of first and second and ran 14.1 and trapped at 105.5 with a 2.55 60' time. I really wanted to practice with this car as I don't have any experience with it but my coolant hose started leaking. Seems my intercooler piping was rubbing the hose near the top and split it. Luckily we cut the top of the pipe and clamped it lower and limped home.

I think with the times in the 60' and the trap speed, this car has 13 flat in its sight maybe high 12's in a perfect run. I'm just not familiar enough with it yet. Going to go within the next week or so.

What mods are on the car? brand and size tire?

If you can get the 60 foot just under 2 seconds, you're looking at a 13 flat IMO.

Supposedly the engine has a streetport from mazdatrix and99 spec turbos. What i can actually see is the greddy (trust) smic, m2 intake, trust elbow, power fc and commander, profec b2 boost controller, full exhaust (cat still in). That's all I could gather.

Tuned by granite state dyno and tune. On the hottest day of the summer here over 104 degrees, it pulled a 287.67 rwhp. Tuner said my second turbo want getting full boost because actuator wasnt opening fully.

Also on a side note, since i didn't have a great amount of info on the previous build, I had my mechanic call mazdatrix because they built the whole thing (which they had acknowledge when I was trying to verify the car). And we were dealt with rather rudely and couldn't really get any info. Very disappointed as I just wanted to know what I now owned. Mazdatrix did tell me they had the car all the way till February.

I had similar mods before going single(Greddy SMIC, M2 air intake, stock turbos, power fc, 3" downpipe, no cats and RB duals. I had dynoed 310whp with M/T Street ETs I was able to click off a 12.4 @ 111mph.

Wow awesome time. Those drag radials must help huge. I'm new to the car and drags and need more practice. Since I dynoed at 287whp and on my new toyo proxies im hoping for 13 flat. Should I get high 12's?

As long as you get that secondary turbo boosting, perfect launch and a good tail wind it's possible.

Steve i know it'll do 11s just trying to get used to launching with all that extra power now. If i can cut a 1.8 60' it'll be done. Funny thing was everytime i staged the track official kept coming over and looking inside the car. I asked him what he's looking for and he said a cage. lol.
