Changed my single setup 11.8@~122
I recently switched from a t66 to a 62-1 that Bryan from BNR built me.
I won't be allowed back to the track any more since I can hit 11s with a 2.0 60 time which is fairly easy to get even with wheelhop.
My best run was 11.8 and another was 11.996 or something close. I'll post up time slips. Not to make excuses but the 11.8 should have been ~11.6 or lower because I had fuel starvation in 1st gear during the launch and it felt slugish in the rest of the gears. I should have let off but I knew I had a hell of a launch that time and didn't want to let it go to waste. Pretty dumb excuse since I'm on a new engine but you know how that goes in the moment.
I just had the car tuned this last weekend by Steve Kan. My car has a huge fuel pressure problem so it's pretty pathetic right now. I believe I will hit 10s no problem when I get all the horsepower my car can make. Right now I'm at about 390rwhp. All I have for suspension is m2 trailing arms. Also if anyone has any suggestions for my fuel pressure issue please let me know. We swapped pumps, hardwired power to the pump and changed the fuel filter so far and still the same.

I got a 1.8 60 foot the last run 11.8 but like I said it cut out hard on me at 6k in first and was losing gas here and there in the rest of the gears. I think my 1/8 was 96mph and 122 for 1/4. Right now my car has ~390rwhp. I'm having fuel pressure problems so we couldn't tune higher. Did get 425rwhp on the dyno but tuned it down for safety on the street. I need a roll cage before I'm allowed back at that track. Plus I don't enjoy it that much I just did it to see where the car was at.
Thanks for the compliments. I'll get some timeslips up here soon.
Here's my engine bay I need to polish it up again its dirty...

Hey Marshall! The spool of this turbo is IDENTICAL to the .70 of the t-66. Bryan tells me that theres a wastegate problem or something because I should have much better spool. I still have the boshe pump it's very nice I'm not sure why I have the fp problem but I'm assuming the problem is somewhere in the engine bay. I had 5 gallons of gas in the car when I got there and the last run I ran out of gas and it died at 6000 in 1st and felt strange the rest of the run. I replaced the ignition amp with a new one, new 10mm wires, greddy raceplugs, new coil harness so that pretty much was it. I think the only thing I damaged was the amp when I gave power to that spare wire (magnetic pickup) and it was just running rich thats why I thought it was ignition related. How did you have the car setup to start so fast before? It takes less now with the steve kan tuning but nothing like before!
How is your new RX did you get it?

Thoes were some good runs Yanni, its good to see another rx7 owner actually backing up the power of there car. Im glad you use it like I do and not baby the car like most other owners. Keep it up, Ill hit the tack again once I get a new boost controller.

Marshall told you I was out of gas haha. It's cool I'll take a slower time instead of the blown engine I could easily have had. Should have let off...stupid of me I knew something wasn't right.
sk8 I posted my 3 best time slips. It looks like your car is just very slightly behind my best run. You'll probably just sneak into the 11s if you shift all the gears quickly.
Todd I'm ready to go any time. I'm not taking my car any more until I get some fuel pressure haha. Duty cycles a little too high for comfort. But I'd love to go with your car and maybe get some other 3d gens out there?? Maybe??? **** ill drive those cars
Did you guys notice how consistent my trap speed is on these 3 runs holy crap!
Also I wanted to mention that my intake temps were horrible ~52 waiting in line but once I'd finish the runs it was at 40 thanks to Marshalls water/alcohol injection (I just had water in it for now). Usually on the road im at about 37!

I was having big pressure problems, so Steve turned up the INJ DUTY to compensate. I have since rewired the Nipondenso pump and added a BG fuel filter. Just by doing this my pressure at idle went from 38-50 psi. Now I having missing problems when I turn the boost up due to having much fuel, from the high INJ DUTY.

We changed out the fuel pump, rewired the fuel pump and changed the fuel filter on the dyno. Everything is solid. Steve still thinks it is the fuel pump for some reason even though my fuel pump flows 30lph more than the supra pump which is what you have. Plus it had the fuel drop off problem at even 10psi where I was making what like 360rwhp. I think my pump can handle 360rwhp since it's the biggest intake pump I believe and the stock one might be able to push that much. Any way it has to be the fuel pressure regulator.
