Parse error

I'm having problems. I'll go to my subscribed threads and try to click some of them and I get a parse error. Same thing when I go to them manually as well.

I have the same problem. I can only view the first page of any thread. If there are multiple pages and I try to jump to a page I get the parse error. This is on the iphone app.

I'm having the same issue to guys. The IT guy gotta to step it up😠

Vicoor 04-15-15 08:31 AM

I am having this issue too. Went to the forum runner support and it seems there is a problem with Vbulletin
I access the forum a lot using my IPhone so this is hindering me.
Is there something I need to do, or is this to be taken care of "behind the scenes"?

Then the web browser it is.
I'll just remove the app, and hopefully we'll be notified when the new app is available.

Mods just "work here"..we don't own the joint,so Everyone is going through the same thing.
As with the 4 or more other threads that mention the same thing,IB asks that you be patient and it will get resolved.:)

I am using 2 apps and Safari now to view

rxbaby7 07-16-15 05:24 PM

Anybody fix the parse issues. Still having issues on my iPhone but nothing on my iPad. JW if there's something I have to download or update. Thanks

Andre The Giant 07-16-15 09:39 PM

Nope. Apparently they plan on doing nothing about it. I dislike the other "app" they say to use now. So still limping around with this parse error peice of junk.
I use the app to navigate around.
When I find a thread with only one page it's fine.
When I view a thread with more than one page, I open the thread then tap the title which opens up the thread in "browser view" or whatever. Then I can look past the first page.

They treat the app like a rotorhead deals with his problems in real life.. Lol

Not giving a fuck lol

Andre The Giant 10-12-15 04:52 PM

Alright, someone else try this and see if it fixes the problem.

This applies to Iphone 5s

In the app, open a thread that has more than one page. At the top of the thread, click the bold title of the thread. This should open the thread using Safari browser, still within the app. I have been using the mobile version of the site.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and change the view or page type or whatever to desktop version.

Close the browser window by going back to the app page for the thread.

After I did this, the app allowed me to view past the first page of a thread and has been working this way for 2 days.

This was the only thing I changed and it immediately got rid of the "parse error" and not being able to go past first page in the app.

heynoman 10-12-15 07:02 PM

It works WTF! what took you so long to figure this out ? I been switching from this app to GT over and over and over . Oh and it doesn't have to have more then one page I did it on a post with only one . Thanks Bruh .

Andre The Giant 10-12-15 11:03 PM

Excellent
Yes, I only said to start with a thread with more than one page so you can check right after to see if it works.

I actually did fix it accidentally about a month ago, but I broke it again within the same day. Because I could not figure out what I did that caused it. But since then I have been carefully watching what I do in there in case I get it working again. So I can "reverse engineer" the fix.

I'm glad to see it works for you also. I don't like the other app or the mobile site, I only like the rx7club app. Even though it sucks :)

heynoman 10-12-15 11:09 PM

Same here I pretty much kept up with everything until it reached 16 post and then bam! I'm really glad you found this .
