1980 Anniversary Edition RX7 Conversion to TII 13B
This is the journey of my 1980 Anniversary Edition RX7, which I bought in 1981 and converted to a 13B turbo engine. I wanted a "fast" daily driver. For years I collected parts for the first gen body & interior parts and TII components for the upgrade. I bought a TII engine and TII parts car (running - kind of), but ended up putting a new 13B crate engine from Rotary Performance (Garland, TX) and used the parts from 88 S4 TII parts car(s). The engine was manufactured by Mazda (left over from a special order) 13B Crate Engine: 4-port TII block, GLS-SE Rotors, 9:4:1 Compression Ratio, and 3mm Apex Seals. I have an extra cross member and when I get to it I'll do a better job and replace.
