xxr 522 wheels
Does anyone have xxr 522 wheels on a fc? I am curious what they will look like on my car before I purchase. I am thinking the 17x8 front and 17x9 rear in gold. Please post pics if you can thanks.

I want a 17x9 rear wheel and they only come in +42 or +25. I will be running a 255 40 17 with stock suspension. Which offset would you choose? Or which would fit better. Does anyone run these size and offsets on their car? I have a 1988 t2.

I'd choose +25 and MAKE it fit. I think that +42 might rub suspension.
I'm planning on running 18x11 + ~20. with +50 mm over fenders. So im going to need spacers. |
in the interest of not modifying your bodywork, go with the higher offset and run spacers if needed. its a lot easier to take away offset then add it...

Thats also an idea. lol I didn't think about that...

I have 17 x 9 works with 17mm offset. Anything higher with same width would look gay. J/s

My bad quoted wrong qoute. On the phone:( this is for the guy with the 11 wide idea. Sorry still getting use to this layout

II've seen these wheels in person and they're pretty hideous looking wheels. The curvature of the design makes the spokes stick out further than the barrel of the rim. something that happens when you try and put an aggressive concave on a wheel that isn't designed to have it.

What size were they? I did notice that in the smaller sizes they do look a little worse but the ones I saw in 17" did not look that bad. Thanks for the input.
