Work Meister SR1 on FD
 

Hey, I'm going to buy some Work Meister S1R's.

I plan on going with 18x9.5 in front and 18x10.5 in the rear.

The offsets would be around +40 I'm guessing. Does anyone know the exact offsets I would need to make these work with some fender rolling?

Also what size tires would you get with this setup?

you need to be closer to + 55 in the rear, + 45 or even +50 would be better for the front. there is a fd spreadsheet for wheel and tire sizing if you search for it.

Offsets of +45 front and rear would work great. Tire sizes would either be 255/35 or 265/35 up front, and 285/30 or 295/30 rear.

10.5 +45 would require aftermarket trailing arms based on my backspacing calculations. Please advise Max only if you have done these fitments.

I don't believe in Calculators because it probably won't put in certain constraints for backspacing. Many of these constraints will change based on the ride height of the vehicle and relative interference with the trailing arms.

From the work I've done, Standard Rolled Rear fenders: 18x10 +38 RPF1 with 285/30/18 ran about 2 degs negative camber. This is acceptable.

If max is willing to do a little pulling, not much, or run more camber the 10.5 +45 should suffice and not require an aftermarket rear trailing arm.

I'm basing this off the old school 18x10 +52 kinesis wheel fitments we did with MaxCooper.

It would be tight, but yes probably tubular trailing arms would give more clearance. Its been so long since Ive ever ran factory trailing arms I forget exactly how much more room they take up. I have in the past ran the standard 18x10 CCW all around, which I believe are 50mm offsets. These gave me no issues even up front, rolled front fenders but stock rears. They even still looked slightly sunken in in the rear. Ive also ran 18x9.5 +45 SSR GT2s all around, in 265/35, again no issues up front. So my posts are coming from personal experience. I advised the +45 offsets instead of the aforementioned +50-55 because of the inboard clearance.

OK, this is what I'm thinking about as of now..

18x9.5 +38 and 18x10.5 +35

Maybe run a 255 up front and a 265/275 in the rear?

That would work fine, youre just going to need to do some rolling front and rear, and camber depending on ride height.

I'm running 3 piece Meisters (S3)

Wheels: Work Meisters 3 pc 18x9 +48 front (A disk) and 18x10 +40 rears (O disk)
Tires: Nitto NT01s - 265/35 rears and 245/40 fronts

Tire widths vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. I could have fit a 275/35 Nitto on my rear with no fender rolling whatsoever. Hope this helps!

Are the offset numbers the same for the S1 and S1R models?

FWW, im running 18x10 +25 rear with no problems, stock trailing arms, lightly rolled fenders, slammed coilovers, no rubbing.

18 x 10.5 +12 with NT05 265 35 SSR Professor SP1, aftermarket trailing arms, coil overs set very low and rolled fenders. No rubbing or any issues at all. Only negative is 265's are about as wide as I can go in the back without the tire not being flush with the fender.

Thanks. I'm thinking of rebuilding the wheels with a wider inner barrel to have the flush and stretched look with a much wider tire.

Man.....my setup is gonna be nuts...

I've got 19X9.5's with 255/35 and 19X11.5's with 295/30's...Both are 38-offset. Tire height both match at exactly 26", which is the same diameter as most 235 or 245 18" tires.

Should be fun rolling my fenders, though! I've got Burnout fenders I could throw on too, I just wouldn't have the cash to have it all painted and pretty if I do it now..

i have 18x9.5 +44 with 265/35 in the front with rolled fender, theres still a bit of room though
no idea about the rear, too many factors such as if you're gonna pull the fenders or not, degree of camber, and which tire models

Have you thought about the parasitic loss of having 26 inch? I wonder how much would that take. Im thinking of wide 17 inch with maybe 19 inch total in diameter. I have a single setup so parasitic loss should be minimal while having a nice stance.
