Will 18x10 and 18x9 fit on my 91 FC??????

Looking into a set of baller ass work vs-xx wheels and im wondering if i can get these babys to clear the stock body with a little roll/pull. or if 18's even look good on a FC with no aero.

18X10 +22
18x9 +24

sure thing those will fit.
but without aero it will look pretty tall unless you go with super thin sidewall tires.
you would probably fit easiest with a 215 to 235 front tire and a 235 to 255 rear tire.
a little roll/pull will work out fine and if you run a bit of negative camber you wont need much fender modding.

vs-xx are so siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!
good luck mang.

owen knows what's up but i wouldn't make a blanket statement like that.

What suspension are you running?

I can't get a 9" +24 to clear any coilovers I've ever tested on the FC.

i.e. JIC, ZEAL, Stance

I've always run a 9" +15 max to run square tire on there, leaving some space for tire flex to boot....

Rears will need to mod fenders by approx 15mm depending on tire and camber.

I currently have 17x9 +24 w/ 245/40/17 up front, tein flex's
maybe the 18x9's fit differently?

A lot will depend on the OD of the spring, spring perch, and/or damper body.

The way they design and shape the lower bracket can also help produce more room.

So my point is to take some measurements cause this is a bit relative to your suspension setup.

Thanks for all the info guys, i did a test fit without tires and the rears clear the coilovers but hit the heat sheild for the muffler and the fronts rub my coilovers (Powered by max) but it looks like with a 5-10mm spacer it will clear, now i need to roll my fenders and rock these bad boys.

I'm running 18x9 +25, running a 3mm slip on. Running Zeal Function B6s, I had 2mm of clearance in the front without the the spacer. 225/40 with around -2 degrees of camber.

I run a 18x10 +22 in the rear. I cut the heat shield off. 235/40, Approx. -3/-2.5 of camber

newspaper roll on front and rear. good clearance

^ thats weird. i have 285/40/17 in back on +27 and it clears my heat shield by like an inch. do turbos have different heat shields or something? (i have a base model)

They are flexible? you can bend it by hand
It was in the way, so I just moved where it was touching.

Yup I'd say a 10mm spacer for good measure depending on tire size. I run grip fitments so my tire sidewall always interferes. If you're stretching prob 5mm. If grip then 10mm to allow for flex under lateral loads.

Is 19x9.5 possible all around?
