where to get new pads and rotors for AP Racing brake kit?
 

The title says it all. Were the hell can I get new pads or rotors for the AP racing big brake kit???

EssexParts.com can get pads and probably rotors, too. I am running Ferodo DS2500 on the street, but you can also get Hawk pads for them. I've got some Pagid RS-4-2-1 pads (one new set, one slightly used) that I would be willing to sell for $100 and $75, respectively. Mark V. loves these pads and decided to have a set custom made for his car after reviewing a bunch of pad test data. They are supposed to be good dual-purpose pads. I used them on the street and they were great for that, but I never got a chance to try them on track. I tried to get Pagid pads for my Wilwood calipers in back, but they don't make any, so I switched to Ferodo all around.

N-Tech also sells pads and rotors for the AP kit. I would imagine Brake Pros and KVR can probably get them, too.

Max, do you know of any pads that won't leave brake dust that will stain the wheels? It seems like a lot of hardcore pads do this. Also anyone know where I can get JAPANESE pads for these brakes?

EBC makes pads for the CP5200 calipers. Be sure to check the dimensions, though, as they had the wrong numbers in their catalogs for a while. They do make the right size, they just had the wrong number in the catalog. The Greens are said to be low-dusting.

Pagid pads are made in Germany. Schnitzel fried in newspapers?

Ferodo is an English company, and so is EBC, I think.

dont think any jap guys make pads for the 5200 calipers

Most of the AP kits in Jp, spec ferodo DS2500 as the oe pad with their kits.

Greens are quite dust free, I used them for my AP 6 pots before.

I currently use the DS2500 for my 6 pots and will be using the greens for my FD

We do Project Mu and Endless Victor. I'm not sure if they'd have the right size option but it's worth a shot.

The Hawk number is 110 and the PFC number is 767 for the CP5200 caliper.

The Porterfield R4S pad is quite nice for the street, same performance as the Hawks, less squeaking and MUCH less brake dust. I've been using them in my AP kit for about 3 months now.

EBC green don't dust much on the street, that's true, but I completely nuked a set on my Turbo 2 in only 1 and a half track events, putting dust everywhere and big furrows in one rotor. (so don't use them on the track)

There are a few rotor options..

The local kits M2, N-tech and such uses rotors made in US, I dont know where and what they are like.

I use the CP5000 series rotors. Average cost is 250 usd each

There is an option of getting race/rally spec CP3000 series rotors, supposed to be stronger ...never tried them about 400 usd each
