Wheel stud and spacer (FD)?
just want to add 5 mm wheel spacer on the rear
should i go with longer stud or oem wheel stud are enough long to go with 5mm wheel spacer ? thanks |
Most people say a 5mm spacer on the stock studs is ok. I used a 5mm spacer on the rear and IMO it's cutting it close with the amount of threads the lugnut grips on... I wouldn't do it for performance driving, but it should be just fine for the street.

thanks for the advices ,
so 5-6 threads minimum is the way to go... since my car has prodrive gc01, I should probably mesure the thickness of the wheel stud hole to be safe ... any idea of the oem 16 inch wheel stud hole thickness? |
3 threads is the bare minumum (by design), so yah, 5 threads.
if you can do 5 full turns, you're good |
ok thanks
I've just install the 5 mm wheel spacer on the rear and have almost 6 threads so it should be good ! |
