whats the difference between stance GR+ Pro and the normals ones?

So i saw that Stance has some new coilovers named GR+ Pro. So whats the difference between that and the older one? I read what they had on the site, but it didnt seem like to much of a difference. From the pic, the only difference i could see was a helper spring and a steel rear mount insted of the urathane one.

Forum sponsor Rishie at AutoRND can tell you. He sells them. Might want to get in touch with him. Or wait for his response if he sees this thread.

It keeps the spring in place when the suspension has no load and allows you to tune your droop travel which leads to more tire staying in contact with the pavement.

So is it worth it to get the gr+pro over the gr+

So GR+Pro basically adds a helper/Tender spring to the rear dampers. They are exactly the same suspension system as the GR+ but adds an accessory.

The purpose of this is to increase/dial in the amount of droop travel you want in the rear suspension to avoid wheel lift under hard cornering conditions.

I actually custom ordered some GR+Pros made with Digressive valving in 10/8 spring rates, with longer stroke in the rear to accommodate for the helper spring. I personally don't believe the standard GR+ damper has enough stroke to properly take advantage of the helper spring. If you are looking for "stance'd look" then it would probably be fine.

If you're looking to road race or autox I would actually wait for my custom dampers. Probably can't slam the car but should get into the 25" ride height area. Approx 1 finger gap above stock tire diameter for FD.

Thanks, Rishie
