what tire for daily beat and track?

hey everyone. im about to get some new rims and i dont know what tire to get. everyone keeps telling me to get the NT01. im nt sure about getting them because Florida likes to have random down pours and they dont look very sturdy for rain weather. and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I have several friends who are heavy into tracking, but use their cars for dual purpose. They swear by the Kumho MX's. Some other good dual purpose tires:

Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Also Dunlop Z1, Hankook RS-2, Yoko Advan AD-07 to name a few.

= Dunlop Z1. There are two tires called Direzza: the Z1 (suitable for the use described) and the lower performance DZ101.
