if any wheel gurus are looking...
what offset do i need for the 18x12? the only thing i have heard is to add the 2" on the outside...but what offset would this be?

Even on a silver car, I would go with the silver myself. Since you're running the Pettit flares, check with them about the offset, but I would think you would want something in the +20 to +25 range. Damn tires in 335/30 are expensive!

what is the correct backspacing? i can always go by that i guess.

Allowable backspacing doesn't change from stock. You can run an 18x10 +50 offset wheel with aftermarket trailing arms. So let's start there. You are adding an inch to each side (~25mm) of the wheel. Therefore, the wheel needs to start out another inch further out to maintain the same suspension clearance. Hence, you should run a maximum of +25 offset with a 12" wheel. However, I would not go too much less than this so you minimize the change in scrub radius, increased wheel bearing wear, and the effect of running a wider track up front with the same track up front. Hence my recommendation of running a +20 to +25 wheel.

With the 3 piece CCW wheels one normally runs 18x10's +50mm all around. Damian went to 18x12.5's out back and simply added the larger outer rim half and kept the offset the same. I would say 18x12 +50mm is the ticket. That is what I'll be running.

Mark, that doesn't make any sense. A 12" +50 will be 1" further inboard of an 18x10 +50, which is very close to suspension as is. I do not see how this will clear.

question....is offset from center? if so, if you add the 2" to the outside you change the offset. correct?
^^^^^
If you change the rim width the offset changes no matter what... when Damian added a different outer rim half, he changed the offset, because offset is measured from the centerline of the wheel to the mount face... and his centerline moved.
He DIDN'T change the backspacing however. If you were to get a 12.5" +50, you'd have more backspacing than Damian does.... since he moved the centerline out, the offet is lower than that now.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Wow they almost look like Work VS-XX wheels.
I've done Petit flares in the fitment you want on the Endless FD.
i would run this setup if you want it flush with fenders with these size tires.
FYI, i have a few sets of Michelin Pilot Sport 335/30/18 that are brand new and I just don't need them sitting around anymore. so if you want a pair let me know. It will save you a couple hundred dollars for sure.
On the Endless FD we ran
335/30/18 and 11.5 +0 offset wheels.
therefore if going to a 12" wheel just add about 6mm to it.
I'd go with 12.0" +6 offset and it should be real nice and flush with some phat *** meat.
This is based on Front spacing i've seen with petits, Ryn is referring to backspacing which is your SAFE MAX offset limit. MINE is your MAX Low OFFSET LIMIT.
The best way to do it is get the wheels first then have the body shop make the fenders fit the wheels. Make sure your frame is straight of course and suspension arms. hehe.

OK np Ryn, email me anytime or call the office. Just let me know the spring rates and i'll see if I have them around here. FYI, the Zeals are not a 65ID they are actually a 63ID. I tried using some of these on other coils and frik, didn't work. Damn proprietary BS.
