What do you guys think about these for GSL-SE
I was looking at getting these rims for my white 85 GSL-SE and was wondering is the forum had any thoughts. They are 15X6 with a 46mm offset.
Is your 7 white? There may be to much white going on if so.
Not sure about the offset, kinda sounds to big.
I know when I get new wheels for my GSL-SE I want to have a 7" wide wheel.
I say if you are getting them for a good deal then go for it. Can you test fit them.
If you get them be sure to take many photos so we can all check it out.

I figure your better off with too much offest than too little. With too much, you can just spacer to get the right fit. Too little, the rims will stick out past the fenders and your SOL.

Why would you want a lower offset? The stock offset is 40mm. If I understand correctly, the offset is how far the mounting point is offset from the center of the rim. On a 5.5" rim with a +40mm offset, you have approx. 4.35" backspacing with a 1.15" lip. On a 6" rim with a +45mm offset, you have approx. 4.8" backspacing with a 1.2" lip. That would keep the edge of the rim about the same as the factory 5.5" rim. If I wanted it to est out farther, I could put in a small spacer.

Ok, I found another set I am contemplating going a little wider and a different style since their might be two much white with the first set. I have been a fan of this style and just found a set that are 15x7, 4x114.3, and 38mm offset. I think they will fit. Here is a pic.
