I've got an 87 FC GXL, and I was going to swap the stock GXL wheels with the convertible wheels. Are these the same wheels size wise and all, and can I use the same tires I have now, I have 205-60-15's.

Yes...they are the same size, as in 15inch..but they are wider, and come stock with a 205/60/15. I have vert wheels with 205/50/15s on them, and they look great, my car is lowered about 1.75
