Vacuum Bleeder

Anybody here use a vacuum brake bleeder? (I'm sure somebody does!) I have only used pressure bleeders in the past, and from the pain of that experience repeated, I think I am ready to try something else. Does anyone think vacuum bleeders are easier to use? Are they better than pressure bleeders for any reason? Any particular product that is very good?

Also, which way is easier and/or more efficient for a full flush of the system?

I have never used a pressure bleeder, but I do like my vacuum brake bleeder. You can buy a nice vacuum brake bleeder from Griot's Garage.

The only catch is that you need an air compressor.

I use the Autozone/Walmart vacuum bleeders. They work fine. The only issue I have is the threads on the bleeder valves let air in; so I have to use disc brake grease to get a good vacuum. It's a little messy, but as long as you're careful, it's not a big deal.
