Traction Control

Is there anyone out there who knows if it is feasible to intergrate the traction control system of an RX-8 into an FD? I assume the system consists of various sensors and or solenoids and is controled by a little black box that works in conjuntion with the the ABS system and also retards spark . I vaguely remember the subject of traction control units for the FD a couple of years ago but if I don't recall seeing a post where someone actually intalled one that worked. It seems that the system from an RX-8 might be a possibility.

There is zero chance of using the RX-8 system, which uses an electronic throttle and is fully integrated into the 32-bit encrypted ecu.

People have had success installing the RaceLogic control. Do a search under that, you'll get several good threads.

RaceLogic Traction control works!

It's been many years since the first one was installed by KDrotary...I've read the small review and like it a lot.

Thanks for the info Rynberg & POM HB. I was unaware the RX-8 had a drive by wire throttle. I date a girl who has one and in driving hers I couldn't tell. Great info.
