anyone running these? im looking at getting 205/55/16 up front and 225/50/16 in the rear.

got an opinion on tread wear, stickiness, autox?

these will be going on konig counter steer R 16x7 + 25 wheels.

i think you mean t1r

they are fine as a compromise street track tire

best thing about them is the wet traction
dry traction is good, but not as good as cheaper alternatives
feedback is weird

worst thing about them is the price. definitely not worth the money. i'd sacrifice some wet traction and get rt615s over them in a heartbeat.

absolutely amazing tires. Have them on my fikses right now. Dry traction is good. Wet traction is out of this world. Quiet & comfortable.
love 'em , can't say enough

I wrote a lot about them on this bimmerforums thread:

Great bang/buck tires. I'm happy with them on my MR2T, NSX, and M3...

I wish they'd stop making T1Rs and make the T1Ss again.

I've had them on my T2 for a couple of years now (225/50/16 all around) and have been pleased with them.

I have had mine for about 2 years. 245/45/16 on 8 inch rims. Dry traction is OK. I think not as good as the T1S. Definitely not among the best dry performance tires. Still, a pretty good tire for the price.

For me, I want a tire to last about 12K. Anything more than that is too hard for what I want. The T1R will far exceed what I wanted, therefore, they are too hard for my liking. I won't be buying another set because they don't stick as well as I would like.
