TII Drift/neutral alignment settings
 

I searched through the forums and found alot of information about FD alignment settings but not a whole lot on the FC. I am having tien type he's installed on friday, and I was wondering if anyone with these have previous experience with the proper settings and ride height. How close are the FC settings to the FD?

You can use the FD settings for toe, but you need to run more agressive camber due to the different suspension.

Drift settings are going to vary widely, because driver feedback is different from car to car.

It also depends on what kinda track surface and the speeds you're going to be drifting at.

I'd like to go with a slight toe-in front settings, as with high speed sections (approaching 100mph), it's more stable.  Others use a front toe-out alignment (see if you find posts by Ranzo), to get the front steering to react quicker.  It really depends on how you, the driver, want the car to handle.

I like to run between -2 to -4 front camber, depends on the tires and track width up front.

Rears, I like to run almost zero camber (like -1 max), because we want to maximize rear tire life.  There are those running insane rear camber is really wide tires, but this just eats the insides up - and it's basically for show.

Some will run a little toe-out in the rear, as this causes the car to rotate faster.  Most alignment shops will tell you the rear toe is not adjustable.  I like to keep toe at zero and play around with the rear tire sizes.

As you can see, this is not a really forward answer for your question.  Alignment relies heavily on how you like to have the car set-up for your comfort.

Wow, I am soo glad your site is back up. I have missed it for years it seems like. I have 17x7.5 wheels, and 225/45 toyos all the way around. I am not some champion drifter, I just need some streetable settings that I can use to play it.
