That suspension will NOT outperform a good spring and strut assembly. I'd put it on a cadillac but certainly not a sports car.

You guys should fill out the survey and tell them you think they should market it for Rx-7's in the future ;) I did :P

i filled it out... if that suspension is corner height adjustable and able to memorize it for each of the three settings, that would be the BLING'est suspension setup i would ever see.

I see 18 wheeled gravel haulers with air bag springs every day on the highway.

There was an FD equiped with air bag suspension setup featured in Banzai Magazine about two months ago.

Tom Ngo's 'low rider' derived suspension was designed for style (and style only) no doubt - seeing as how Bridgstone actually intends this for track use, this is of more interest to me. Besides the obvious benefit of ride height adjustability, I'd like an unbiased view on how well it really works though.

I still don't see it doing any better than a good spring & shock combo...

I think it could do better than a spring and shock combo because it's filled with air. I mean you have about the same control in stiffness and rebound, etc with both, but when it comes to the ride the air will definitely be a lot more comfortable for the racer ;)

i can tell you right now, its no good for any high performance handeling. if it was so great, they would have been using it in the highest forms of racing a long time ago.
You have to remember, theres people who spend there whole life looking for somthing better. This is not it.

What they are claiming is that they are providing a solution that encompasses a "total" suspension package as a whole. Their product simplifies the process of having to match spring rates to shocks, etc.

Basically, this is a good solution for someone who wants a smooth comfortable ride for every day street driving, but also wants to be able to turn up the suspension for more aggressive driving, and turn it up some more for track driving. All without the hassle of adjusting coilovers, matching spring rates, removing daily driving suspension for track suspension, etc.

We all know of people who have purchased a suspension package, only to be unsatisfied w/ it. We all like different suspension rates. Some like it when their teeth start chattering. Others don't.

It is still a good offering. While I would not put this product in my car (my RX-7), I would like to test this product. I find it intriguing.
