suspention up grade need advice???

Hi guy's

I would appreciate your input on this one

What do you think would be the best set up for my 88 FC I have 17" wheels on it.
I want to lower the car and change the shocks while I am at it
The car will be street driven not to hard and will not be raced
So medum firm, good handling but not to hard of a drive is what I am looking for
I also want something that is nice looking since this car also goes to shows:)

Some ground-controls and KYBs would be ideal for what you're looking for I think. As big of a drop you want, as firm as you could want it for just spirited driving, and a knob turn away from cadillac ride quality. Sounds ideal for what you're wanting I think.

Kyle
Look's exacly what I am looking for can you be more specific on the ground-controls and KYBs you think might be fit ;)

I am going for a seach now

Went to KYB's site and saw the AGX or GR2 wich of the two you think and what ground control looks good

kyb agx are adjustable, i've heard really good things about them too...

The AGX and GC setup is quite good. Find out what kind of pricing you can get in Canada. If not that then I would highly suggest the Tein Flex as it will give you even more adjustability and be an integrated unit as opposed to a made up coilover.

Beyond that if you just want a nice drop and ride quality I would highly recommend the Intrax spring and AGX setup. THis is a very very nice street setup. You do lose some performance but it will kill the stock handling.

Hey Rishie

After our talk I tought the JIC set up would be good for what I needed and talked about:(

Now I am confused:confused:

The JIC set up we talked about, the AGX and GC setup, the Tein Flex integrated unit as opposed to a made up coilover or the Intrax spring and AGX setup that you highly recommend.

Racing Beat springs and sway bars, a suitable damper set up. KYB's are good value from what I gather. Look at getting some DTSS (rear toe eliminator bushings) to shore everything up.
