Suspension Setup Opinions / Help
 

So I have been reading and searching for a long time now, but it seems the more I read the more confused I get in making my decision on which suspension setup to use for my FD. The car is a weekend car, sometimes I do drive it during the week, but definetly not a daily driver. I am looking to start auto crossing it and I plan on running 18X9.5 +38mm Enkei NT-03M in the near future.

MY first though was to use Koni sport yellow shocks and GC coilovers, but then as I search and read the forums I started thinking about just going with a full coilover setup. Then I learned about twin tube shocks vs monotube shocks (which I did not understand before) and as I get my self more educated the more difficult the decision is becoming. At the moment I am looking at a set of Stance coilovers (Rishie specs) from Rishie of course. From what I have read so far it seems Rishie is a very knowledgeable person and this coilover setup seems to be custom for FD's. But I am still thinking about other setups, and yes, if I had the money I would go with Ohlins, but that is out of my reach at the moment. With this being said, I am trying to keep it under the $1,500 range, but I am willing to go a little north if needed.

As said in your last thread, just about anything will do what you need. You just need to determine how much it's worth to you. Unless you are competing in the car (i.e. time trials or autox), you'll likely never really notice the difference between Tein Flex, Stance or Ohlins. Whatever coilover you get, make sure to have the car corner balanced after the install.

Thanks, any inputs or feedback on the Ground Control coilovers with Koni yellow? More specifically, GC with eibach 10kg/mm front and 8kg/mm rear and the koni yellow.

Again, you likely won't notice the difference between those and the coilover kits. However, I still recommend Tein Flex as it gives you the opprotunity to install the EDFC later on if you would like to:
