Bang for the buck is a stock setup. You can drift a stock setup, no need to buy an expensive one until you know how to drift, do you? An adjustable suspension is a must, go with a complete coilver setup like the JIC FLT-A2. They are not the most expensive and not the cheapest but they offer a great starting point to learn how to fine tune your suspension to your drving style.

JIC also build front and rear strut tower bars to stiffen up the chassis and Do-Luck builds a Rear Cross Bar even more rigidity. A good LSD is also highly recomended.

Like I said, you can drift anything as long you know how, if you are just learning, maybe the FD is a bad choice, it has alot of power and it is a kind of expensive car to learn with, you will damage your drift car, get used to it. Drifting is expensive, especially for tires every time you go, I would recomend getting an extra set of junk wheels that fit and go get used tires to run with.
