Street tire to last 20k for 90% dry/no winter?

I'm in AZ so I never see snow so winter tires aren't needed.

It rains periodically but is mostly dry.

I put about 20k a year on the car so I need something to last a year and that's about it. It's mostly highway driving to work. Some play but not much lately.

I've been doing some searching and I'm leaning towards the Yokohama ES100
Although the tread wear scares me a bit. You think I'll get close to 20k?

I've heard kumho Ectra 711's/712's are pure shit. The MX's are said to be good but the prices I've seen lead me towards others(usually $10-15 higher than others)

Any recommendations on a brand to fit in to my range?
The Hankook's are very well priced. I've heard Rs-2s are good. Any exp on their life span?

What about Dunlop SP Sport FM901? They have a good price range and I've used their SP tires before.

How about Fuzion ZRi ??

I have 235x40x17 up front and 245x40x17 in the rear.

thx

lot's of views but no replies. I guess others are in the same boat as me and would like some real world input.

So far I think I'm going to get the ES100's although the tires are on the back burner while I try and find a engine problem which may cost $$$. :(

Rubber on ES100 is hard. For street use it is less comfortable and noisier than my 18" Potenza S-03. I just use it for autocross and they have poor grib during hard acceleration. They are good street tires and should last over 20k miles if you drive normal since FD is very light. I have maybe over 9K mile on it and there are still plenty of tread. I will switch to R compound when the ES100 wear out.

Also based on my experience, Yokohama tires tend to get harder and noiser when they wear down. I had Parada before and they get noiser and noiser. However the straight line stability and cornering on the Parada is nice.

Cool. That's the type of info on wear I need.

Thx.
I'm pretty sure I'm going with ES100's now.
Just have to find out why my car doesn't like to go into boost and I'll be set!
